On June 25, 2009, the Mountain Republican Women's Club awarded the MRWC Grassroots Award to MRWC members Noni and Wes Hamilton.

Members since MRWC’s 2nd year, Noni and Wes moved to Evergreen from Redwood City, CA in 1997 to be close to their daughter and her family. Noni has served as MRWC’s Chaplain and she and Wes attend their Caucus, have been delegates to various assemblies, support candidates, and most recently rode in MRWC’s entry in the Evergreen Rodeo Parade.  Without the efforts of such dedicated members and volunteers, our grassroots efforts would not be successful.
