On January 28, 2010, the MRWC Grassroots Award was presented to Crista Huff.  Crista moved to Colorado in 1988 from New York.  She spent 21 years in Fortune 500 companies, including Liz Claiborne and Morgan Stanley before retiring in 2002 to raise her children.  In 2006, Crista had an encounter with an illegal alien, a career criminal, which brought her life to a halt.  After recovering from the trauma, she became a District Captain with Douglas County Republicans, learned the caucus and assembly process, started a political newsletter, and was elected as a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2008.  Crista increased her activism and conservative voter outreach dramatically after the 2008 election to rally voters to fight back against socialism.  She publicizes and attends rallies; interacts with statewide voters, candidates and legislators.  You can follow Crista through her blog at www.TheRightHuff.blogspot.com.
