Natalie Menten MRWC Grassroots Award Recipient August, 2009

On August 20th, 2009, MRWC was pleased to present the MRWC Grassroots Award to Natalie Menten in recognition of the thousands of hours she devotes to fighting ever-expanding government.

 

Natalie has worked along side her husband Tom in their Lakewood business for 20 years, but her passion and “full-time hobby” is grassroots public policy.She spearheaded the successful effort to repeal the Lakewood grocery tax; was a leader in the successful effort to pass legislation regarding transparency in government spending; and is working on eminent domain abuses specifically for landowners in the path of the Light Rail west corridor extension. She has served Jeffco GOP as its secretary and is now running for the Lakewood City Council.
