APRIL 17th EVENT A BIG SUCCESS!

220 MRWC members, supporters plus elected officials and our 2010 candidates braved a foggy morning as they made their way to Mt. Vernon Country Club for our annual fundraiser.  If the mood inside was a forecaster for Fall election, Colorado's Republicans should have many victories in November!

Special thanks for all their hard work in putting together this event go to co-chair, Dianne Bozarth, who has been working on"The Brunch” since last December; Danielle Bozarth for the graphic designs, Judy Merkel who was command central for all the bookwork and keeper of the R.S.V.P.'s and Carol Alexander who chaired the Silent Auction.   We really appreciated the work and input from our Event Committee members Margie McDonald, Jane Rund, Lisa Rizzo, Dee Oltmans, Marion Dries, Eileen Diepenbrock, Mary Beth Price and supercaller Tara Shockites.  Truly a committee to be proud of!!!

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Jon Caldara, President of the Independence Institute who so generously gave his time to us.  MRWC deeply appreciates all the support we received from our members and friends in this effort.  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!

Military Donations

MRWC is proud to make donations to the following military support groups:

CFRW Day at the Legislature - March 8th

MRWC had 16 members attend this annual event at the State Capitol.  At the morning sessions, Republican elected officials explained the battles they are fighting on our behalf.  When the Legislature opened session at 10:00, our group moved upstairs into the Senate and House chambers to listen and learn as they debated and voted on legislation.  The luncheon was a packed house and our own Donna Jack led the audience of over 200 in singing the National Anthem, followed by the opportunity to meet many candidates and hear keynote speeches from Congressman Coffman and Attorney General Suthers.  It was another well organized event and the "sea of red" at the capitol was a welcome sight for our Republican legislators.
